Mike Missanelli is an American sports talk radio personality. He currently hosts The Mike Missanelli Show on 97.5 The Fanatic in Philadelphia.
Career & Achievements
Missanelli started his career in 1992 as a weekend sports talk show host on WWDB-AM 860 in Philadelphia. In 1996, he was given the opportunity to host a daily sports talk show on WIP-AM 610, also in Philadelphia. He remained at WIP until leaving in August 2008 to join ESPN Radio.
In October 2009, Missanelli returned to the Philadelphia area, joining SportsTalk 950 as afternoon drive host. In 2012, he joined 97.5 The Fanatic, where he currently hosts The Mike Missanelli Show.
Personal Life
Missanelli has been nominated for numerous awards throughout his career, including the Marconi Award for Major Market Personality of the Year in 2006 and 2009. In 2012, he was named one of the Top 100 Sports Talk Radio Hosts by Talkers Magazine. Missanelli currently resides in the Philadelphia area with his wife and two children.
